Dashel was founded by Catherine Bedford. She started her career designing accessories for luxury brands, and then she moved into retail design, before specializing in trend forecasting and product development for global brands. As a trend forecaster, her role was to help large corporates including Nike, Sony, Virgin, & LVMH identify new materials, technologies and markets to create new product lines and campaigns. A keen cyclist, Catherine founded Dashel Helmets as she saw a gap in the market for an urban cycle helmet made with the same qualities that draw us to the bikes and accessories that we love: Namely provenance, craftsmanship and premium materials.
