The innovation star and multiple award winning design prize winner of the bicycle world is named Hövding! Hövding’s story began in 2005 in a master’s thesis by the two founders Anna Haupt and Terese Alstin, who, at the time, were studying industrial design at the University of Lund in southern Sweden. The idea: to develop an “invisible” bicycle helmet, that you would like to wear. Years of research and intensive development have brought forth a new quality product which, according to the latest studies at Stanford University, protects up to eight times better than the traditional bicycle helmet.
