Retro Fun for the Public too: Bicycle Parade with a Dress Code
It’s not about speed at Berlin Tweed Day. It’s about bicycling in period style and fostering bicycle culture – and most of all, it’s about the right clothing. In other words: Old English tweed reigns. For this enjoyable outing, mostly on historical bicycles, each participant must adhere to the dress code. Jeans and lycra are not permitted, instead, the cycling bohème pedals through the city in costumes, dresses, knickerbockers, three-quarter or suit trousers, and with a bowler, straw hat or classic protecting hood on the head.
The facts: Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 10:30am Start at Brandenburg Gate, Meeting at 10am, Finish: Berliner Fahrradschau, STATION Berlin.
